Raymond Gray
Raymond Gray has been deeply involved in Texas Property Tax since serving as a Law Clerk for the Texas House Committee on Ways and Means during the 1981 revisions to the Property Tax Code. With decades of experience as a property tax attorney and consultant, Raymond handles a wide range of tax protests and appeals, including industrial cases like wind farms and power plants, as well as commercial properties such as hotels, office buildings, and retail centers. His past cases have also included unusual matters like multi-billion-dollar recalls, water parks, and exemption issues for Texas A&M University.
Raymond was a key figure in one of the country’s largest property tax law firms, and spent 15 years representing appraisal districts and taxing units. His understanding of the pressures on appraisal districts helps him provide invaluable insight for his clients.

Outside of law, Raymond is passionate about scouting, serving as Vice President for Safe Scouting in Texas’ Boy Scouts of America. Raymond and his wife of 30+ years live on a horse ranch outside Austin, embracing the Texas lifestyle.
